I usually get acne like once a month, but my skin is constantly oily!!! I need a really good toner and moisturizer to control oil. I’ve tried OTC products and they still don’t do the job! what have you tried and has worked for you?

Proactiv! Used it for years, its the best by far.

i have extremely oily skin too so i know what a pain it can be.
i use a toner that i got from the person i get my facials from, but im not sure what its called, sorry. ive also used biore and it was good too. um i really like clean and clear morning burst, it helps control oil pretty well, and the moisturizer that comes in that little series is good too. hope this helps =]

Proactiv can irritate skin, I have tried it and didn’t like it at all. I have very oily skin myself and unfortunately there isn’t anything you can do to get rid of it completely. Right now I use Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Moisture Gel and the Skin Balancing toner (both for combination/oily skin). They both have anti-oxidants and no irritants like alcohol and such. I also use Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid to help keep blackheads and pimples at bay since my skin is also very prone to breakouts. Until I started using her products I would always have blemish flare ups on my face and it would drive me crazy. After years and tons of money down the drain I finally found out about this woman who researches and tests cosmetics and skincare and soon after that started using her face care. The products are similar in price to Clinique (most under $20) and can only be bought online. I just bought her most recent book that came out last month (Don’t Go To The Cosmetics Counter Without Me) and I consult it before I buy any cosmetics or skincare. As for make up I like Estee Lauder’s Double Matte powder and for more coverage the Double Wear powder foundation–its really just thicker powder so you can get foundation coverage. I just recently tried Bare Escentuals again and my face broke out–and its been awhile, I wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin.

I also just bought a 1 year subscription for her new website that opens tomorrow beautypedia.com, it has everything that is in her book plus updates when new products come out, I got half off with the code BP50 and it was only $11-12

Herbalife. It is so amazing! It doesn’t completely dry out my skin and make it flaky. It works way better than even what the dermatoligist gave to me! It is so good! I (no offense to others really) tried Proactive, but it just didn’t do the trick. But this stuff really works. You should look up their stuff. It’s called Nurofusion. I love it! It comes with a Cleanser, a Toner, and a moisturizer that will help even it out. And the moisterizer is definitely not oily! It’s made for oily skin.
