I am 22 years old and have normal skin. I get a few zits every once in awhile but do not get bad breakouts often. My question is what are the Best Skin Care Products to be using? My family has great skin, so do I still need to be using expensive products? If so what type should I be using? If I don’t need expensive products what are some good over the counter products? I need information about cleansers, moisturizers, and anything else I should use. Thanks!
For your age and skin type I would recommend Arbonne Intelligence 5 Step system for face. It is a natural, botanically based, swiss-formulated skin care system. It is ideal for young skin (from about age 16-36). The moisturizer is self-adjusting, so that you get the amount your skin needs, without being over-moisturized. The eye cream is FANTASTIC! The cleanser and pH balancing Toner are a must. And there is also a facial scrub to use twice a week for that ‘deep cleaning and exfoliating’. These Arbonne products contain no mineral oil, no petroleum products, no animal or animal by-products and no chemical fragrances.
Most over the counter products actually have ingredients in them that will ultimately harm your skin. One ingredient, mineral oil, is in 98% of all cosmetics and moisturizers, but has been found to be the second leading cause of premature aging of the skin. The molecules in mineral oil are too large to penetrate the skin (which is what the manufacturers had wanted it to do to moisturize), so they sit on top of your skin like a film of plastic wrap…this ’seals’ the pores, so that your skin cannot breathe, and toxins cannot be released.
You are very lucky to have been blessed with great skin, so take care of it and don’t ruin it by using damaging products. You may have to pay a little bit more, but isn’t your skin and your health worth it? Feel free to email me if you have any other questions.

To get rid of acne/pimples, use an acne treatment with benzyl peroxide. To prevent acne from coming back, drink plenty of water every day. Use a daily face wash with salicylic acid in it to unclog dirt and oil from pores, which cause pimples. Make sure to moisturize every day too, because acne medicine will otherwise dry your face out. If your face thinks that it is being dried out, it will produce even more oil, causing acne. Hope I helped.

Well, lets see, your best bet is liquid antibacterial soap, foam up face and then rinse with hot water and then cold.
The only thing u need is aloe vera on face afterwards, it soothes, and prevents wrinkles.

I use Mary Kay products. They have them based on your type of skin. So I use the cleansing creme, the moisture rich mask and the moisturizer. It’s pretty reasonable and a bottle lasts you for a while. It’s helped me for years.

Personally, I use Nuetrogena VisiblyEven cleanser and then I use Loreal Hydrafresh toner. The result has been a clear, brighter, even, skin tone
Each one cost about $5 to $6 at Walmart.
